Rico Nasty has used 2020 as a year of recalibrating. Considering everything that she experienced while she was in lockdown, the Maryland rapper looks back on her time there and remembers both her personal and creative growth, including trying new things and boosting her self-confidence as an artist.
In regards to her upcoming debut album, Nightmare Vacation, Nasty explained, that Collaborating with 100 Gecs has allowed her to realize her vision. Losing both her fans’ and critics' expectations has made her rethink the message, and to make her fans feel powerful."
