Is it possible to live in a world when there is no heating, power, or telephone? It poses a question here that prompts us to consider the circumstances of our lives and if we would live in what is referred to as the stone dream. This editorial evokes the proverb: May you live in fascinating times. This is also the title of the 58th Venice Biennale, which is an expression of the English language creation that has long been erroneously quoted as an old Chinese curse conjuring moments of instability, upheaval, and turbulence; "interesting times," similar to the ones we are now living in.

By allowing for a fresh interpretation of gestures and circumstances, every one of us will be able to argue in debate. A comparable art form emerges from our proclivity to perceive reality from various perspectives and to juggle disparate interpretations of the world around us.

A stone dream with no heating, power, or telephone is a project that offers fresh perspectives on an otherwise mundane world. Sasha Hramova curates the art direction, styling, and Polaroid photography, while Evgeny Kolesnikov handles the film and digital photography. Both of them create unique images by manipulating colors and flowers with a sense of imagination and genuineness. Olia Varda, the protagonist, is the model, but she is not constantly focused, with an industrial metropolis in the backdrop.
